Group History:
The Roots Rockers were formed in 2000 as an alternative to creative boredom and drudgery; the brain child of Goloman and Joe. The band originally intended to provide fun and entertainment, but the two leaders quickly realized that it was their duty to share the plight of the Sudanese people and a strong message began to appear in the groups lyrics.
Over time, the underlying theme of the band had become a message of unity, peace, and freedom for all people everywhere.
Group Vision:
The band's ongoing quest is to continue spreading the message of hope for the next generation, and to continue to strive for a brighter future for the innocents of the new Sudan. Their dream is to use their God given gifts to develop a better life.
