I WILL PERSONALLY HUNT YOU DOWN AND F#@K YOUR HAPPINESS IF I SEE THIS ON EBAY!
Some additional notes:
There is a lot of western percussion and drums in
the music and sometimes it seems that you are hearing the
tabla and drums together, but its all being played by Zakir
Hussain. He uses a small snare with cymbals which sits
next to his tabla.
Chick Corea was waiting backstage and watched this performance. In fact
John refers to him during the introductions.
Anjeleque Kidjo was also there in the audience and it was her birthday,
which was brought up by Carlos Santana the following night (Hyms for Peace show)
where she performed with the Santana band along with John McLaughlin,
Steve Winwood, Wayne Shorter and a who's who at the festival.
Bryan Ferry was the act that followed Remember Shakti.
